Music in the Park
Date: Every Wednesday Evening (weather permitting)
Place: The Veterans Rally Point in Lopatcong, NJ
The Phillipsburg Area Veterans Association is pleased to hold Music in the Park! Every Wednesday night, talented musicians representing seasoned veterans of the United States Armed Forces will perform live music at no cost to the public. It's open to everyone and it's a whole new world of excitement. Come on out, bring a lawn chair or a blanket, and enjoy some quality entertainment by veterans blazing with talent. National POW/MIA Remembrance Day/Veterans Recognition Night
Date: Friday, September 21st, 2018
5:00 P.M.: Meet and Greet
5:30 P.M.: Dinner
6:15 P.M.: POW/MIA Ceremony
6:40 P.M.: All guests will be escorted to reserved seats in the stands
Place: Bellis Field (Maloney Stadium) at Phillipsburg Middle School
(Note: Please enter the stadium through the gate nearest to Rt. 22 at the end of the field with the scoreboard.)
The Phillipsburg Area Veterans Association is proud to welcome U.S. Veterans to a night of recognition as well as a night of honoring those who have been captured and/or declared missing during the fiercest battles. Dinner and refreshments will be served at 5:30 for every veteran (along with 1 guest allowed). During the halftime portion of the football game taking place, a special ceremony will take place on the track to recognize veterans as well as POW/MIA soldiers from the Phillipsburg area.
21st Annual William L. Nixon Veterans Day Tribute

Time: 12:00 P.M.
Place: Phillipsburg High School
All are welcome to the 21st Annual William L. Nixon Veterans Day Tribute taking place at Phillipsburg High School! On this very special occasion, we pay tribute to those who have bravely served our country from the Phillipsburg area as well as those we have lost who died bravely protecting the freedoms of America. This year, we will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I, known at the time as the Great War. In addition, this year's Veterans Day Tribute will honor the families of those who have proudly serve our country. If you are willing to help or looking for service hours, any help from volunteers would be extremely appreciated during this special tribute. Light refreshments will be served afterwards.
